That saved a wretch like me.

How precious did that Grace appear

'Tis Grace that brought me safe thus far

The Lord has promised good to me.

Sublime gracia del Señor

que un infeliz salvó;

fui ciego mas hoy miro yo

perdido y el me halló.

Su gracia me enseño a temer;

mis dudas ahuyentó

¡Oh cuán precioso fue a mi ser

cuando él me transformó!

En los peligros y aflicción

que yo he tenido aquí,

La verdad de la gracia es lo que todos los seres humanos necesitamos.
